I seem to be talking about ”new times!” all the time, but now It’s actually spring. I have plenty of new material I want to show you, pictures from pink nightlife in Tel Aviv, among others. But this girl, Amanda was a kick off for me after weeks and weeks of not taking any photos, only thinking – very hard. Witch doesn’t make you a photographer just like an author only thinking about text could not be an author.

The following has happened: I was, and I am a part of Vårsalongen this year. We’re 236 artists exhibiting at Liljevalchs in Stockholm. Lots of art in different forms and materials. Lots of fun! Unfortunately I was ill the day the opening-day. But I had a nurse. A being a part of the show feels like a big party, lasting until the end of march. If you’ve already visited the exhibition, but do not remember seeing my piece It’s probably cause you’re eyes focused on the HUGE penis-painting right beside my piece. Different kinds of intimacy.. Anyways, I got myself a camera. A camera for work. This means I’m totally available for working! Really good feeling, as a photographer: having a camera. As a first mission with this new friend I photographed an old friend who was having a brilliant show at Södra Teatern last weekend: Robert!

OK dear readers, I’m spending this friday night at home listening to radio drinking red wine in from of my screen. I’m trying make myself write a text for Vårsalongen, where I’ll be a part of the show with Come closer, from the 26th. It’s a superb thing to be a part of, I like the whole show in itself even though the opening feels more like a huge artsale this time. I’m excited, anyway. There’s gonna be a ’springchoir’ singing at the pre-showing. I really appreciate that initiative. Spring will come faster. So: Come for the opening and watch me become hopefully rich. This happens on the 27th. The exhibition will be open until the 25th of march.

This year hasn’t ended yet really, but I think the last weeks of these 365 days will be totally without exhibitions. Oh my there’s been so much vernissage-wine this year! It started off with our graduationshow in april and continued with New Nordic photography, and then it went on with Planket in Stockholm during summer, plus one tiny exhibition during Pride and two shows with Corso the artcollective (!).  And last weekend I had maybe the best vernissage ever at Bengans espressobar in Gothenburg showing nostalgia-pictures from my years in the city where you find dead umbrellas lying around in every street corner. The photos where all portraits of friends and family and no wonder it all came out so good when the whole exhibition is hanging at the place where all the stories took place. If you’re ever in Gothenburg, visit Bengans coffebar! You’ll get so much love with the coffee! (And if you come before the 14th of january you also get to see my work).

If you’re in Stockholm on friday-sun: Don’t miss out on this one! The best artcollective ever is having It’s third exhibition in Stockholm and It’ll be a blast, I promise you. We’re 23 artists creating a new room of art twice a year anf this time we’re squeezing ourselves into this tiny little space with almost no light in it. I’m so excited about this show! I think It’s possible to say that the leading artform this time is video. I’m showing a serie of picture that I took just two weeks ago, or even less than that. Trying to show some unfinished work, sketches, showing the beginning of a project instead of working with a secret process in secret forever before showing people my work. So, come see!

So, I went to Norrkoping to make this little exhibition. Norrköping is not a tiny city but not big either. There was a culturenight going on, lots of people out on the streets during like enjoying arts and music and traditional bosnian housecooking or looking at the Salvation army singing in a choir, or looking at my art at Konstforum. The place is right by the water and made of tree and there’s 5 different separate exhibitions going on in there so go have a look, if you’re around. My pictures will be there until october 9th, witch is next weekend. Yumm.

OK folks, I’m such a lousy blogger. Life is so BIG and so full of time and still no time at all. I’m staring to realize, and I will realize it even more tonight cause I’m gonna be sitting in my livingroom putting frames together: I’m actually having an opening within less than a week in Norrköping! 2011- the year of exhibitions! But this time It’s my own and I’m exhibiting photos from this project that I’ve been working on for years. It’s all about a special place out on the countryside in Sweden where special people come and meet and makes really special things. happen. It’s magical. Come and see, if you can, if you cannot, I’ll give you reports!
